



WHAT IS A MEDICAL SCRIBE?
A scribe is a trained assistant who works continuously with a medical provider such as an Emergency Physician.
They accompany the Physician in their duties and are responsible for documenting the consultation (history and physical), planning and assessment; facilitating investigations; booking a bed; delivering charts and pathology requests to nurses and completes the bill.
Medical Scibes add value to the health system.
